At its 2015 mid-winter meeting in Riverside, California, the NACOLE Board of Directors adopted a resolution endorsing behavior that promotes civility among the Board of Directors, the NACOLE membership, its partners, and its supporters.  In making a commitment to these standards, the Board's goal is to promote an atmosphere where civil discourse and participation during meetings, on the Listserv, and in all communication can occur freely and respectfully.

NACOLE is committed to creating an inclusive and respectful environment where diverse and impassioned opinions and viewpoints can be considered.  A robust exchange of ideas is necessary to the health of society, as well as in the discourse of public and private organizations working for the common good and we are proud to promote conduct that supports these important principals.
